2025 goals and aspirations

Hello! I just wanted to jump on here and let you know what my creative plans are for the new year.

As I have mentioned, exploring oil paints is on the agenda. This is a material I have only really dipped my toes into a couple of times, but always ended up abandoning it for the faster drying time of Acrylics.

I have been spending time learning more about art through reading books about artists I admire, listening to art history lessons on YouTube, and by taking a post war abstract course through MOMA. I have always spent time listening to podcasts about art and artists, and looking up different artists and artworks, but lately I've been wanting to learn more and have a deeper understanding of art movements, and artists that I admire.

In recent years I have not put much time or effort into reaching out to galleries and other opportunities to share my work with others. This year I would like to change that. Art is best experienced in person; photos, and videos are only a fragment of what a painting truly is.
