Hello, my name is Rae-ann Dalgleish and I am an acrylic, abstract artist, currently located in Kitimat, BC.
Born and raised in Northern BC, I have spent most of my life surrounded by stunning natural beauty, mountains, lakes and rivers.
I have been faithfully devoted to my art practice since 2017, with a full-time focus since 2020. I have been self-taught for the most part, preferring to explore materials, and tools in solitude.
I am excited and inspired by the work of Lee Krasner, Rita Ackerman, Helen Frankenthaler, and Grace Hartigan.
My work is informed by my experiences,  relationships, and connections, whether it's to other people, landscapes, or personal stories.
I have had the opportunity to exhibit at CASA in Lethbridge, AB (2022) as well as having my work displayed at the Village office in Telkwa, BC (2024)
I have donated work to a number of charitable organizations and non-profits, with10% of each painting sold donated to a non-profit or charitable organization of the collectors choice.
